Story one:
My story is about one time when I went hiking 8 miles up a trail with my family. There was two trails you could chose from. The first led to a huge waterfall that you could walk behind it. The second trail let all the way up to a cliff that you could sit down at and look at the overview. During the trail, there were little streams every now and then. We had stopped to have a little drink break, I heard what sounded like an elephant over through the trees. It turned out that it was just the trees creaking.
Story two:
My story is about my experiences playing Field Hockey throughout the last year. I started playing my Freshmen year of High School. Before that, I had never picked up a field hockey stick and really didn't know what the sport was about. I made the JV team and had a blast playing during the season. During games, I still had no idea what I was doing. It was just like I was on auto pilot and someone was controlling me! As the season went on, I started learning how to play and what all the rules are. It took some time to get to the end of the season, but when it was over, I really missed Field Hockey.
About every other weekend, I get bored and pull out my stick and some Hockey balls, and call up a few friends. We go to a park with an open field and practice drills, sweeping, and hitting the ball. We always have a competition to see who can hit the farthest. Then when we're done practicing, we go back to my house and eat some food.

My grades first quarter were pretty good. In History, I wasn't doing too well. On my quizes and tests, I failed almost all of them. I realized I needed to study, and get to doing all my work. I suprisingly turned it around and working on keeping my grades up in that class. I love Avid and should always keep an "A" in this class. Next year, I need tp start out the year ready to work and keep up my study habits.
